"Let food by thy medicine and medicine be thy food"

According to traditional Chinese medicine, each type of food contains an essential energy that can be used to treat imbalances of yin and yang within the body. Consuming an adequate balance of hot/warm and cool/cold foods is vital to health. This unique chart, featuring individual watercolor illustrations of each food, details where a variety of common foods fall on the hot-cold energy spectrum.

Our wooden framed art prints come in a white or black finish, are 1 1/4" by 3/4 " thick, and include hanging hardware. The ensemble comes with an acrylic front protector to help prevent damage to the print.

Printed on archival, acid-free, 192 gsm matte paper - the prints are thick, durable, and museum-quality. Made to order.

    Our Process

    Behind the Scenes

    • We always begin any map with research into the region. We choose well-loved landmarks and use them as a focal point for the map.

    • We then begin the process of painting each location by hand. For every map, we usually create about five to ten new drawings.

    • All drawings are digitized, then we design and arrange them onto the final map, editing and adjusting the design so that each map feels full of life and detail.
